The grand finale of the 5th and final edition of the INTER science popularization competition, organized by the Foundation for Polish Science as part of the SKILLS project was held in Warsaw.
Their presentations were evaluated by the members of the competition committee: Prof. Maciej Żylicz, president of the Foundation for Polish Science (chair), Dr Ilona Iłowiecka-Tańska, Dr Monika Marcinkowska (winner of the 4th INTER competition), editor Krzysztof Michalski, editor Dorota Romanowska, and editor Tomasz Rożek.
PhD Anna Zawistowska-Deniziak won 3rd prize — PLN 80,000 „They are there: How to detect a silent killer”.
The results obtained during the project were included in a ongoing patent application.
The finalists were obligated to attend the personal presentation training and to present their research projects in front of the audience and committee.
